Vice President & co-founder

Todd Reifenrath

Since 1995, when he co-founded Webitects.com, Todd has been building web solutions for corporations, non-profits, and associations. Todd pioneered Webitects' early efforts (in the mid to late 90s) to build highly dynamic websites and custom content management solutions. He created frameworks and developed methodologies that Webitects' growing staff continues to use on a daily basis. Todd continues to act as a technical lead for many of Webitects' projects, directs Webitects' technology-driven efforts, and advises clients on a broad range of web- and technology-related issues. Over the past fifteen years Todd has led and managed dozens of projects resulting in highly effective websites for organizations of all types. His writing has been published in Association Forum's FORUM journal.

Prior to the Web, Todd's experience was in client-server software development. Working as a software engineer while a student, he supported and enhanced a nationally deployed electronic insurance claims processing system (written in C and FoxPro). After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa (go panthers!) with a BS in Computer Science he joined Arthur Andersen in Chicago where he developed corporate tax compliance software for Fortune 500 clients. In less than two years, he advanced from a product team to a senior member of the software architecture group (a highly technical team that provided tools and frameworks used by product teams).

In the early 90s Todd joined a Detroit-based IS consulting firm as Vice President of Information Technology where he led the firm's software development team, played an integral part of several long-term enterprise software development projects as a traveling consultant, and initiated an Internet Services division.

Todd lives in the Chicago area with his wife Stephanie and their two young boys, Eli and Owen. He is a scuba diver, real estate investor, often the handiest guy in the room, and a frequent volunteer in his sons' school, little league, and scouting activities.
