Vernon Magsino (former Webitect)
Programmer
Vernon joined Webitects as a versatile web designer/developer in 2007. He has researched, designed, and built for the web since 1996. With his well rounded background in both the design and the development world, he is the go-to guy in the office, helping everyone else out in any aspect of any project. From Adobe CS4 Creative Suite to Zend PHP and from ASP.NET to XML, the encyclopedia of the knowledge of Vernon is vast and is continually expanding like the universe.
When not at the office, Vernon is a student by day and a disc jockey on the weekends. Vernon is in graduate school at the University of Illinois at Chicago pursuing his master’s degree in Computer Science with emphasis in Human-Computer Interaction and Software Engineering. During the weekday evenings, he spends countless hours at Caribou Coffee studying, and then when that closes he can be found at the 24-hour Starbucks studying until the sun comes up. During the weekends, he spins records and CDs at Nordstrom’s and many other venues around the city and around the country.
In his spare time (if there is any left), he plays the clarinet in an orchestra, performs as a back-up dancer for various entertainers, runs in 5K/10K races around the city, watches Chicago Cubs games, and travels around the world.
