Erie Neighborhood House
Erie Neighborhood House, founded in 1870 in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, is a social service agency that assists low-income, primarily Latino families in creating better lives for themselves and their families. The non-profit organization offers a variety of programs, including adult education, child care, technology training, and after-school activities.
Features include a calendar with online registration, ability to toggle between English and Spanish content, online donations, and employment and volunteer opportunities. Editors can also control nearly every aspect of the website with our content management system.
Design
The design features a classic layout using the company's color palette and a small variety of fonts. This helps to create a welcoming atmosphere and encourages visitors to delve deeper into the site. Designed with Web standards in mind, the site takes advantage of the benefits CSS, XHTML, and DOM-based scripting has to offer. Utilizing these methods not only enhances stability and accessibility but also helps increase exposure.
